A leading consultancy in the nuclear and defence sectors is seeking a Senior EC&I Design Engineer to take on a critical role in the review and acceptance of designs for a globally recognized project. - Job Title: Senior EC&I Design Engineer (Contract)
- Location: Suffolk (Site up to 4 days)
- Contract Length: 12 Months
- Pay Rate: Up to 拢75/hour (Inside IR35)
Key Responsibilities:
- 路Lead the review and acceptance of technical design packages.
- 路Ensure designs meet high-quality standards and align with relevant codes and regulations.
- 路Oversee the production and verification of technical deliverables.
- 路Evaluate briefs, scopes of work, and fee/bid proposals.
- 路Provide input to refine and approve design practices and technical solutions.
- 路Coordinate and manage internal resources in support of design acceptance.
- 路Participate in internal and external progress, coordination, and design review meetings.
Requirements:
- 路Relevant qualification in Building Services or EC&I Engineering.
- 路Strong communication and presentation skills.
- 路Proficiency in technical software, drawing, and calculation tools.
- 路Achieved or working towards professional registration (CEng, MCIBSE, or equivalent).
