Job Title: AV Senior Engineer

Job Summary:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading AV solutions provider for an experienced AV Senior Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project, providing AV and Unified Communications (UC) support for a rapidly expanding site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for AV/UC room installations, end-user support, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as supervising an onsite AV team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite AV support for corporate meeting spaces, including Microsoft Teams Room systems.
Perform daily functionality checks on high-priority AV spaces.
Troubleshoot and resolve AV/VC faults efficiently under pressure.
Supervise and assist with installation and upgrade projects.
Conduct preventative maintenance visits to minimise downtime.
Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure seamless AV operations.
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each service request.
Assist with event setup and live AV support when required.
Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, including permit signing (POWRA, WAF).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Must have a valid ECS card.
Extensive experience in AV/VC support within corporate or critical environments.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) systems.
Industry-recognised AV certifications (e.g., AVIXA CTS) preferred.
Proficiency with AV/IT troubleshooting, including Dante audio, multicast video, and control systems.
Ability to explain technical issues in a clear, professional manner.
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently or within a small team.
Comfortable with flexible working hours and travel within the Suffolk area.
Must be eligible for security clearance (BPSS & SC checks required).
Skills & Technical Requirements:
Experience with Logitech, Poly, Crestron, Extron, Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS.
Proficiency with networking fundamentals related to AV (e.g., Dante, VLANs, video streaming).
Knowledge of video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams, Webex, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting skills for audio/video signals (HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, etc.).
Manual handling capability for moving AV equipment
