Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our clients team and lead efforts to achieve their ambitious goal of increasing their customer base by 2030. This role is pivotal in driving their multi-channel marketing strategy across Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), e-commerce platforms, international distributors, wholesalers, independent pet specialists, and country stores.

Core Objectives:

  1. Customer Acquisition:

    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve targets by 2030, targeting pet, active, and working dog segments.
    • Identify and target key customer demographics through data-driven insights and innovative campaigns.
  2. Multi-Channel Marketing:

    • Create and manage marketing initiatives across various channels, including:
      • D2C: Enhance website traffic, improve conversion rates, build subscription models, and drive e-commerce growth.
      • E-commerce: Collaborate with platforms to optimise product listings and promotions.
      • International Distributors: Align branding and marketing strategies with global partners to expand market reach.
      • Wholesalers & Retailers: Design trade marketing campaigns to increase distribution, in-store visibility, and sales through POS implementation and sampling initiatives.
  3. Brand Development:

    • Strengthen brand recognition and loyalty by crafting consistent messaging and storytelling across channels.
  4. Agency Oversight:

    • Assess the performance of existing agency partners (e.g., social media, email marketing) and provide improved direction to achieve better results.
  5. Data-Driven Campaigns:

    • Monitor and analyse campaign performance using key metrics (e.g., CPA, ROI, LTV).
  6. Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Manage relationships with external agencies, creative teams, and distribution partners.
  7. Pipeline Development:

    • Develop a robust pipeline to gain listings for the new pet brand in grocery retailers, leveraging category insights and competitive analysis.
  8. Budget Management:

    • Plan, monitor, and optimize marketing budgets to maximize ROI while adhering to fiscal constraints.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, ideally within the pet care, FMCG, or retail sectors.
  • Proven success in managing multi-channel marketing strategies and achieving ambitious sales targets.
  • Demonstrable experience in working with e-commerce platforms, distributors, and retail partners.
