Electrical Engineer role in Bury St Edmunds 45,000
Monday - Friday Day shifts - 42 hour week - 08:00 - 16:30

Perform corrective and preventive electrical maintenance
Perform repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment
Support the installation of new equipment
Ensure all repairs are documented
Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area
Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly
Participate in BOPEX (continuous improvement) program
Comply with all procedures, regulation and policies applicable.
Stop and report unsafe operations and use mandatory PPE as defined.
Offer flexibility in working hours subject to business needs

Ideally we are looking for someone with :

  • The successful candidate will have completed their NVQ Level engineering electrically bias.
  • Ideally with experience working in heavy plant environment appx 5 years +
  • Experience working on PLC and SCADA control system. Mitsubishi, Siemens, Rockwell and Fanuc.
  • Work experience in a FMCG environment (food and beverage would be an advantage).
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques is preferred.
  • Food Hygiene certificate
  • Clean driving license
