A Finance Director is sought for a pioneering agriculture group located on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, known for its reputation in trust and innovation.
The role requires a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a privately owned SME and involves overseeing the financial operations of a multimillion-pound business.
Key responsibilities include supporting the Board in strategic planning, managing financial reporting, and driving efficiencies within the finance function.
Candidates must be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified and possess a strategic and commercial focus, along with strong advisory skills.
The position offers a hybrid working model, ideally with 3 days in the office, and a competitive salary of £80,000 to £100,000.

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Director to join a highly successful, pioneering and diverse agriculture group on the Suffolk/Norfolk boarder off the A140 whose reputation throughout the UK and Europe is built on trust, excellence and innovation. Privately owned, the business is transitioning into a new era of leadership and growth. With the flexibility to work hybrid (ideally 3 days in the office), this is a superb opportunity to work in a complex, commercial and ambition business overseeing the day-to-day accounting of a multimillion-pound business with multiple subsidiaries. Responsibilities:

Supporting and advising the Board in setting the overarching Group strategy of the business
Responsible for leading the financial aspects of that business plan to ensure the Group meets its agreed strategic objectives
Overall control of the Group’s Finance functions, providing guidance to senior management on financial strategy and company performance
Financial planning and forecasting, formulating financial targets and budgets
Overall responsibility for all financial reporting, including: Budgets; Forecasts; Consolidated Monthly MI; Statutory Reports; Cash Management; KPI Reporting
Drive efficiencies and process improvements
Corporate Finance: managing Group policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions as appropriate

Key Skills:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant
Depth of leadership experience within a privately owned and entrepreneurial SME
Ability to demonstrate strategic and commercial focus in previous roles
A collaborative and trusted advisor to shareholders and Board Directors
Results driven with a hands-on, creative outside the box approach
