- Supporting and advising the Board in setting the overarching Group strategy of the business
- Responsible for leading the financial aspects of that business plan to ensure the Group meets its agreed strategic objectives
- Overall control of the Group’s Finance functions, providing guidance to senior management on financial strategy and company performance
- Financial planning and forecasting, formulating financial targets and budgets
- Overall responsibility for all financial reporting, including: Budgets; Forecasts; Consolidated Monthly MI; Statutory Reports; Cash Management; KPI Reporting
- Drive efficiencies and process improvements
- Corporate Finance: managing Group policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions as appropriate
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant
- Depth of leadership experience within a privately owned and entrepreneurial SME
- Ability to demonstrate strategic and commercial focus in previous roles
- A collaborative and trusted advisor to shareholders and Board Directors
- Results driven with a hands-on, creative outside the box approach
