We are recruiting for an NDT Technician (Level 2) to join a well-established manufacturing business based near Uxbridge. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and integrity of components through non-destructive testing (NDT) processes.Why Join Our Client?

Role Responsibilities As an NDT Technician (Level 2), your main duties will include:
  • Conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) of materials following technical specifications and quality procedures.
  • Assembling test items per engineering drawings and company procedures.
  • Monitoring shielding levels in the radiographic facility and ensuring compliance with national safety standards.
  • Completing chemical testing for DPI/MPI processes to verify material and facility efficiency.
  • Generating and maintaining accurate test and inspection documentation in line with quality policies.
  • Using SAP to record work in progress, track component batches, and maintain accurate location records.
  • Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health & safety regulations at all times.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S activities and Lean manufacturing principles.
Who We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Level 2 Certification in PCN or NAS 410 (X-Ray/MPI/DPI).
  • Experience with inspection tools and computerised inspection systems.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • A background in aerospace testing or precision manufacturing (preferred).
  • Basic PC and SAP skills.
  • Solid data analysis and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and high levels of concentration.
