The Programme Manager will report directly to the Efficiency & Performance Manager and be instrumental in the coordination, management, and execution of a diverse portfolio of projects within the Clients Annual Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the Annual Plan, including creation, implementation, monitoring, and success measurement of the programme and its KPIs
- Produce commercial reports, accurately forecast, and support business commercial processes
- Implement consistent project management processes and systems
- Collaborate with Design, Construction, and Commercial Managers to improve contract performance and project KPIs
- Ensure adherence to processes and accurate programme updates through direct linkage with planner roles
- Implement project controls and management on projects
- Coordinate cross-contract and external resources for key project milestones
- Work with client leads, stakeholders, and supply chain to manage project risks, programme, and finances
- Manage Project Managers and Administrators
- Coordinate project information flow between teams, clients, and supply chain
- Develop and apply Power BI to improve reporting and delivery status
- Raise commercial awareness within the project management team, focusing on change control and financial monitoring
- Establish strong working relationships with client leads across all workstreams
Job Requirements:
- Experience with project planning software such as Asta PowerProject, Primavera, or similar
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence in various situations
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to foster a collaborative 'one team' approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively influence client decision-making
- Understanding of the Traffic Management Act (Streetworks Permitting) is preferable
- Experience with Power BI reports and dashboards, with development support from Data Analysts
