Project Manager
We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join a Tier 1 Contractor. You will be tasked with overseeing and delivering projects on time, in line with costs, agreed specifications and regulations of other stakeholders, as well as ensuring and educating the team on best practices.
Responsibilities for Project Manager
If you are a successful candidate and a standout Project Manager, you can expect to be responsible for:
- Ensure that the principles of CDM are applied and relevant legislation's complied with.
- Work with the commercial team to manage costs and maximise profitability as well as capturing any changes that may occur
- Identify risks involved with ongoing and upcoming contracts and provide solutions to prevent these risks from occurring
- Ensuring all activities comply with health and safety and environmental regulations and bringing this culture to all projects.
- Take control of the risks and opportunities schedules involved with the project
- Be a point of contact for clients and building strong business relationships
- Plan and prepare the site compound and set up
- Oversee the appointing and interviewing in line with the project requirements
Requirements for Project Manager
Individuals who will stand out will be able to demonstrate:
- A proven experience in successfully managing multiple teams
- Appropriate professional engineering qualifications (HNC / Degree)
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations
- Great knowledge of highway works
- Strong cost and risk-based analysis skills
- A good advocate of health and safety
- Prince2 or APM
- Excellent Customer and Stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant CSCS
