- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Component Creation: Make components using the appropriate fabrics from standard templates, patterns, and instructions from drawings, including making first off pieces.
- Part Marking: Part mark components and label using ink pad and rubber stamps.
- Pattern Cutting: Cut patterns/templates from drawing prints and use templates to cut fabric pieces prior to sewing, working on industrial sewing machines and overlockers.
- Quality Monitoring: Monitor imperfections in material or threads or mistakes in patterns or instructions.
- Technical Specifications: Using drawings and technical/process specifications to identify and apply part numbers, drawing issues, and surface finishes.
- Record Keeping: Use SAP to record work.
- Experience of working on industrial sewing machines, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of weft and weave.
- Ability to perform simple maintenance of sewing machines, such as changing needles.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and performing repetitive tasks.
