Position: Site Manager
Project: £1.2 Million Industrial Unit Fitout
Location: Fakenham, Norfolk

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the fitout of a £1.2 million industrial unit in Fakenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, managing the workforce, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure the project is delivered according to the design specifications, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring all team members comply with site rules and procedures.
  • Liaise with clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to ensure clear communication and coordination.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management.
  • Manage site resources efficiently, minimizing waste and delays.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
  • Valid First Aid qualification.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects, particularly in industrial or retail fitouts.
