Our client, a beachside café in Falmouth, is looking for a Sous Chef to join their busy and dedicated kitchen team. A stone's throw from the beach, this awesome venue boasts its own micro-brewery and even an aquarium!
A confident Sous Chef is required to support the Head Chef in leading the team in this medium sized busy kitchen. The kitchen produces local fish dishes, burgers, salads and more. With food being served in the family friendly restaurant, bar and outside,
For this full time, permanent Sous Chef position you will have experience in a similar role and be organised and confident in menu planning and costings to ensure the kitchen meets targets whilst delivering an excellent product.
Located in a bustling town location within walking distance to the beach, this full time, permanent Sous Chef role offers a fantastic opportunity and lifestyle.
As Sous you will:
- Have experience of working in professional kitchens at same level
- Be able to do deal with high pressure situations and deliver outstanding food
- Have ability of running your own section while supporting junior team
- Cook to a consistently high level
- Help and support all members of the kitchen team
- Be organise
- Take control of the kitchen in head chef absence
This is a permanent position, we are ideally looking for candidates who would be available to start Immediately.
