We are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Commercial Vehicle Mechanic on behalf of our client, a well-established company located in the Falmouth area,
The ideal candidate will join a small, busy team and work in a fully equipped, in-house workshop. The company's fleet primarily includes Transit vans and DAF trucks, offering diverse and rewarding work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing, repairs, and fault diagnostics on commercial vehicles
- Preparing DAF vehicles for MOT inspections
- Ensuring all work is completed in a timely, methodical, and high-quality manner
Job Details:
- Location: Depot outside Falmouth
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, plus one weekend/on-call shift per month for out-of-hours breakdowns
- Essential: Full UK driving license
- Desirable: Experience with recovery work, HGV license (not mandatory)
