Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Hampshire, UK
Salary: 40,000-45,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPM on commercial and domestic gas systems in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Diagnose faults and provide efficient, cost-effective solutions to commercial gas systems in commercial and domestic environments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, Gas Safe requirements, and industry best practices at all times.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects within set timeframes and to high-quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, acting as a point of contact for clients and maintaining professional relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including gas safety certificates and service reports.
- Assist with emergency call-outs as required and provide after-hours support on occasion.
- Liaise with office staff, supervisors, and project managers to ensure smooth delivery of services.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Gas Safe Registered with a valid Domestic Gas ticket (ACS).
- Commercial gas qualifications (such as CODNCO1, COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A) are highly desirable.
- Strong experience with commercial and domestic gas systems and appliances.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Full, clean UK driving license.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and working practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, well-presented, and able to interact with customers effectively.
