Our client who specialises in maintenance, repairs, and construction services across residential and commercial projects is looking to expand the team due to growth in the business.  

This role is key to gaining access to new frameworks and providing bids and tenders for contracts to companies and councils that they currently do not provide services too.

Alongside this, you will complete estimates and quotes for upcoming projects, liaise with the client’s ensuring satisfaction, coordinate materials from suppliers and make sure high-quality workmanship is provided.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in construction who can manage pricing, procurement, and tender submissions, from small snagging works to large scale projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction and maintenance projects.
  • Analyse tender documents and prepare competitive bids.
  • Liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Source materials and negotiate with suppliers for the best prices.
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience in estimating, tendering, and procurement within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, costs, and supplier networks.
  • Ability to analyse technical drawings and project specifications.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday  7.30am – 17.00pm
