Infinity Employment are looking for a CNC Miller for a permanent contract with our Manufacturing specialist client based near Fareham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is experienced and looking for a new role using Heidenhain machines. They are to produce high quality components that exactly meet customer expectations and requirements. This includes Machine Programming, Machine Setting, Machine Operation, In-process Inspection, Swarf Management, Machine Housekeeping.

It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to have experience with the following specific skills. If some experience is missing, then it trained in a planned programme so all tasks of the manufacturing can be carried out.

Requirements For Manufacturing

• Experience in programming and setting machines with Heidenhain / Fanuc controls
• Able to read drawings
• Able to work to tight tolerances
• Able to check components conform to drawings
• Manufacture jigs and fixtures as required
• Write setting sheets
• Able to work with others as a team or on your own initiative
• Able to work unsupervised
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels
• Liaise effectively at all levels
• Work to deadlines
• Be flexible
• Organise own workload
• Run two machines where possible

Job Package

• Permanent
• 39 hour week
• Monday - Thurs 07.30- 16.00
• Friday - 07.30 - 15.00
• £19.00ph and time and a half after 39 hours for the right candidate
• £17.00ph and time and a half after 39 hours for someone who meets 75%
• £38,532 per year based on £19ph plus overtime
• £34,476 - £36,504 per year based on £17- £18ph plus overtime
• Overtime available when required
• 28 days holiday
• Pension

Expected hours: 39 – 44 per week
