You'll also benefit from study support, tech and gym discounts, regular team lunches, and a supportive team environment.You’ll support the firm’s financial operations, helping to manage client debt while protecting sensitive relationships - a skill that’s highly valued in legal practice. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Chase outstanding debts via phone, email and letter - credit control
  • Liaise with customers to resolve queries and agree on payment plans
  • Initiate legal proceedings if necessary, and issuing relevant letters
  • Take inbound and making outbound calls to customers
  • Assess customer affordability through completion of income and expenditure forms
  • Support the Credit Control Manager
What you will need:This role would suit someone who is confident, emotionally intelligent, and interested in learning how a legal business operates from the inside out. You might have experience in roles such as:Credit Controller, Collections Agent, Debt Recovery Assistant, Customer Service Representative - or even an internship or part-time role alongside your studies.Essential skills include:
