TeamJobs are looking for Temp to Perm Electrical/Maintenance Engineer to join our well-established client based in Fareham!
Pay rate: 32,000- 35,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct general maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and service contracts.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage maintenance budgets to optimize costs.
- Third-Party Management: Oversee third-party contractors, including vetting, risk assessments, and permit-to-work procedures.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with site management and colleagues, providing timely updates and reports.
- Call-Outs and Weekend Work: Be available for occasional call-outs and weekend work as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of building services, electrical, and mechanical systems, particularly HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical equipment.
- Health and Safety: Adherence to health and safety regulations and a strong commitment to safe working practices.
- Qualifications: TEC/City & Guilds or time-served apprenticeship in an electrical/mechanical environment or building services.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably within a distribution center environment.
- IOSH Managing Safely
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge and experience working with racking systems.
