Job Role: Senior Maintenance Technician

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of three key government sites: Newport, Titchfield, and Christchurch. This is a dynamic role where you will be entrusted with overseeing mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance, as well as minor works, across a variety of facilities including large office buildings and a warehouse storage facility. You will be an essential part of the team ensuring the highest standards of service and maintenance are met.

What We Expect You to Do

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and fabric systems across multiple sites.

  • Perform minor works and ensure all buildings and facilities are operating safely and efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Supervise and guide junior team members when necessary, offering support and expertise where required.

  • Take initiative in identifying and resolving maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance activities.
