Are you an experienced professional in financial planning with a passion for developing the next generation of advisers? We are excited to present an opportunity for a dynamic and skilled Academy Manager to join a leading financial services firm and play a pivotal role in the growth and development of Trainee Financial Planners.

About the RoleAs the Academy Manager, you will lead and manage the structured training program for aspiring financial planners, ensuring they gain the necessary skills, knowledge, and qualifications to become successful in the field. This role combines program development, mentorship, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver an industry-leading training academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development & Management: Design and continuously improve a structured training curriculum covering both technical and soft skills, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Trainee Management & Mentorship: Oversee onboarding, provide ongoing support and mentorship, and monitor progress to ensure trainees meet their milestones.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal departments and external bodies to ensure the program’s alignment with strategic priorities and accreditation standards.
  • Compliance & Qualification Management: Ensure that trainees meet professional standards and are on track for necessary certifications.
  • Performance & Reporting: Monitor and report on program effectiveness using key performance metrics.
  • Recruitment & Expansion: Support recruitment efforts and expand the academy as needed to accommodate the growing demand for financial planners.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or financial services.
  • Level 4 Diploma (DipPFS or equivalent preferred).
  • Proven experience in training, mentoring, or managing financial planners or similar professionals.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and industry qualifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A passion for developing and nurturing talent.
