Business partnering with department heads to provide support and advice about cost centres
Delivering detailed and accurate forecasting for non-labour costs and supply-side labour recoveries
Analysing financial data to identify opportunities for improving profitability and growth
Preparing accurate management reports to inform key decision-making across the business
Reviewing and reconciling balance sheets
Supporting bid preparation for contracts
Identifying and implementing process improvements within finance and accounting practices
Supporting the wider finance team and business

What you will need:

Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant / Accountant / Commercial Accountant
Industry experience with exposure to projects and/or contract management would be beneficial
An inquisitive mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables (Power BI experience is a plus)
Confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders
