The Role of Internal Sales Advisor

My client are are looking to recruit an experienced and professional Internal Sales Advisor based at their Head Office in Fareham, who has the skills and competencies to successfully secure and process orders over the telephone.

The role of Internal Sales Advisor involves the following main key tasks:

- Providing a high level of customer service over the telephone

- Securing an order by converting a call into a confirmed order

- Upselling products/services wherever practicably possible

- Processing orders and bookings

- Taking payment details and processing the payment

- Dealing with customer enquiries and queries

- Various general office administration duties

- Supporting other members of the team.

  • Excellent telephone manner - remaining friendly, polite, and professional at all times.
  • Great communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
  • Very good attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information, e.g correct address, post code, contact name, contact numbers, and location details.
  • Very good sales experience with knowledge and understanding of the sales process and upselling.
  • Good organisation skills, with the ability to use own initiative.
  • Hardworking and conscientious.
  • Positive, motivated, and pro-active.
  • Reliable, flexible, and adaptable.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient when under pressure.
  • Ability to work within a busy and fast-paced customer focused sales environment.
