A globally renowned and market-leading technology OEM are looking to hire aTechnical Support Engineerto join their team on a permanent basis at their site in Fareham. The primary focus of this customer-facing role is to efficiently and effectively resolve product-related enquiries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proving first and second line support in relation to telephone enquiries associated with an exciting range of electromechanical products.
- Escalating faults, symptoms, and potential resolutions to relevant technical teams for formal resolution, as appropriate.
- Running product training sessions for 3rdparty resellers and distributers both on site and on webinars
- SupportingR&Dengineering teams with technicalfeedbackto driveproductimprovements.
To be considered for this position, candidates need to have proven experience in a customer-facing role andsome experience in electrical,electronic, or hardwarerepair and diagnostics. In addition, it would be advantageous to hold a technical qualification in engineering,IT, or related discipline.
