Rate: £16.28 PAYE per hour increasing to £16.77 after 12 weeks
Overtime paid at a premium of time and a half, double pay on Sunday's
Hours: 07:30-16:15, Monday-Thursday, 07:30-11:30 Friday
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Paint Sprayer to join our Finishing Department, specialising in the precise application of paint and specialised coatings to a variety of components. The role requires expertise in surface preparation, coating application, and finishing techniques, with a strong focus on quality and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key role of a Paint Sprayer:
- Prepare component surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
- Ensure proper surface condition to achieve optimal paint adhesion and finish.
- Apply specialized coatings, including primers, topcoats, heat-resistant, anti-corrosive, or other protective layers as required.
- Inspect finished components to ensure uniformity, quality, and adherence to specifications.
- Operate and maintain all painting equipment, including spray booths, spray guns, and mixers.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain detailed records of materials used, work performed, and inspection results.
The Paint Sprayer should have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in spray painting and prepping techniques
- Worked with spraying components
- Background working in Aerospace (not essential)
- Great attention to detail
