We are seeking an experienced and skilled Paint Sprayer to join our Finishing Department, specialising in the precise application of paint and specialised coatings to a variety of components. The role requires expertise in surface preparation, coating application, and finishing techniques, with a strong focus on quality and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key role of a Paint Sprayer:

  • Prepare component surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
  • Ensure proper surface condition to achieve optimal paint adhesion and finish.
  • Apply specialized coatings, including primers, topcoats, heat-resistant, anti-corrosive, or other protective layers as required.
  • Inspect finished components to ensure uniformity, quality, and adherence to specifications.
  • Operate and maintain all painting equipment, including spray booths, spray guns, and mixers.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain detailed records of materials used, work performed, and inspection results.

The Paint Sprayer should have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in spray painting and prepping techniques
  • Worked with spraying components
  • Background working in Aerospace (not essential)
  • Great attention to detail
