There is a rotating shift available with day shift and afternoon shift rotating
14.00 – 23.45 Mon – Thursday (No Friday shift)What You Will Do:
- Perform maintenance on a variety of machinery, including CNC and manual machine tools (mills and lathes), fuel pumps and test rigs
- Service and repair to include preventative maintenance
- Operate within an engineering team of 10 people
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site performance.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems – service and repair
What You Will Bring:
- A strong mechanical skill set, with multi-skilling seen as advantageous.
- Experience within industrial or production-based maintenance engineering
- Minimum C&G or NVQ equivalent level 2 mechanical or electrical
- Electrical knowledge, especially in testing motors 3 phase.
- A big plus if you have PLC experience, not essential though
You will have current or recent experience as maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, multi-skilled engineer, multi-skilled maintenance engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer, technician, mechanical fitter, electrical or shift engineer
