We currently have afantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Assembly Technician for a leading engineering company based in Southampton.

Introduction

The primary role of the Mechanical Assembly Technicianwill be to provide support to the engineering team with mechanical testing as well as the assembly, repair build of the site's products to high specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up, preparation and testing mechanical assemblies.
• Recording and processing test result data
• Maintain strict company health and safety guidelines

Ideal Experience:

• Previous experience withinmechanical assembly or mechanical test
• Ability to use hand tools
• Ability to readassembly / engineering drawings and work to instructions
• Attention to detail
• IT literate with Excel, Word,Powerpoint
• Any experience with composites, hydraulics, or 3D CAD would be an advantage

Hours:Day Shift - Flex on start and finish times

Salary:25,400 - 30,000
