RSR are currently recruiting for experienced Business and Facilities Clerk to work on a full-time contract near Fareham, Hampshire.

The role is paying 12.56p per hour.

The role involves working with a UK-based Police Force, and as such applicants will need to be able to obtain national security clearance in order to take up the position.

Purpose of the role:
To process incoming and outgoing post in accordance with ACRO's procedures.
Working within the Business and Facilities office to provide a range of clerical services to support the office, maintaining confidentiality and integrity at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To process incoming post and packages in accordance with postal and courier guidelines.
2. To process outgoing post and packages in accordance with postal and courier guidelines.
3. To use and maintain a variety of manual and computerised record keeping systems, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the data stored.
4. To identify errors/discrepancies and refer to the relevant department for clarification.
5. To report data breaches to line manager in accordance with the GDPR guidance.
6. To provide administrative/practical support and assistance to the Business and Facilities area, when required.

Person specification:

Essential: Experience in handling information, both manual and computerised.

Desirable: Proven experience of working in an administrative environment.
To have used and maintained data, index and filing systems within an office or Criminal Justice environment.
Use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word or equivalent software packages.
