Overview

A Global Aerospace company close to Whitley has an opening for a Graduate in a role with similar exposure to a corporate Graduate Scheme. This is a very busy role where you will be working within a supply chain team responsible for managing product flow and forecasting stock requirements to ensure maximum availability. This is a very fast paced environment that requires the ability to prioritise and multi-task. You will need to be confident challenging and influencing others and have excellent analytical and forecasting skills. This role is working for a fantastic company with a great working environment.

The Role

This is a busy and pressurised role where you will be required to work to tight deadlines. You will be required to multi-task and problem solve. This is an extremely analytical role where you will be using your strong excel skills managing stock flow and producing forecasts based on historical trends. You will be placing orders for materials and following orders through the process, solving problems as you go.

The ideal candidate

To be considered for this role, you will have a good degree in a business related or supply chain subject and be keen to pursue a career in a supply chain role. You need to have excellent analytical skills with good attention to detail. You must be confident liaising with a wide range of people and have effective communication and influencing skills. You will need to be keen to learn and be comfortable taking responsibility and driving the supply chain forward. The ability to work with technical systems including a good working knowledge of MS Excel is also essential. Previous experience in a Supply Chain role is certainly an advantage.

Additional Information

This role in initially is a Fixed Term Contract till March 2025 but there are plenty of internal opportunities that you can be considered for once the contract has finished.
