Copello have partnered with an established engineering business in the recruitment of a Part-time Compliance Manager based in Burridge, ideally 3 days a week.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of output aligns with customer or project requirements and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the Quality Management Representative, promoting customer requirements, maintaining the Business Management System (BMS), and reporting on its performance.
- Planning and managing internal audits to meet AS9100, ISO9001, and ISO27001 standards.
- Auditing products and processes to ensure business processes are implemented effectively and delivering results.
- Managing external audits from customers and certification bodies.
- Handling non-conformance: documenting, managing, and driving corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Reviewing and implementing quality processes to ensure company products and services meet customer expectations and are cost-effective.
- Managing the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure customer requirements are met and delivered on time.
- Acting as the Information Security Management Representative (ISMS).
- Promoting a quality-focused culture within the business.
Role Requirements:
- Full UK driving license with the ability to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain SC level Security clearance.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Degree-qualified (preferably in business or a related field), or relevant industry experience.
- Qualified auditor, ideally with IRCA lead auditor certification.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and industry standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, and ISO27001.
