PE Teacher

Start Date: January 2025 – Contract Until Easter 2025 (Potential for Extension)
Pay: £150 - £230 per day
Location: Fareham (Close to town center)
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Full-Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school near Fareham. This is a full-time, long-term contract starting in January 2025, running until Easter 2025, with the potential for extension beyond that.

As a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality physical education lessons across various year groups. The ideal candidate will have a passion for encouraging students to lead active, healthy lifestyles and will motivate them to excel in a range of sports. This role provides the chance to have a lasting impact on the physical development and well-being of students in a dynamic school setting.

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Track and assess student progress, providing ongoing support and feedback.
• Foster positive relationships with students to enhance their academic and physical growth.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during PE activities.
• Adapt to the changing expectations within the department and contribute to its continuous development.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum and PE assessment frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
• Passion for inspiring students to embrace physical activity and develop their skills.
