Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding Officer to work two days per week, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Job Type: Part-Time (2 days per week)
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for safeguarding concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of safeguarding issues.
- Liaise with external agencies as needed.
- Provide safeguarding training to staff.
- Assist in developing safeguarding policies.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a safeguarding role within education.
- Knowledge of safeguarding legislation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
Desirable Criteria:
- Qualifications in safeguarding or child protection.
- Experience delivering training sessions.
