Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding Officer to work two days per week, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.

Location:Fareham, Hampshire

Salary:Competitive, dependent on experience

Job Type:Part-Time (2 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for safeguarding concerns.

  • Maintain accurate records of safeguarding issues.

  • Liaise with external agencies as needed.

  • Provide safeguarding training to staff.

  • Assist in developing safeguarding policies.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in a safeguarding role within education.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding legislation.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Enhanced DBS clearance.

  • Legal right to work in the UK.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Qualifications in safeguarding or child protection.

  • Experience delivering training sessions.
