Behaviour and SEMH Support Workers

Prospero Teaching seeks enthusiastic Behaviour and SEMH Support Workers to join a highly-rated 'Good' Ofsted SEN School located in Fareham, Hampshire. This fantastic opportunity involves supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, and Autism, aiming to enrich and develop children's lives while improving their attendance and attitudes toward learning.

You'll be part of an excellent team at a fantastic school where you can truly make a difference, playing a key role in the students' development.

The successful candidate will work closely with pupils identified with SEMH, helping them develop interpersonal skills and preparing them for further education, apprenticeships, and the workplace.

  • Minimum rate of pay: £13.09 per hour

Experience, Training and Qualifications needed for Learning Support Workers role:

  • Previous experience in education is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
  • Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous
  • A passion for working with children with SEMH.
  • Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
  • You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.

To be eligible you must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
