Senior Residential Care Worker

Location: Waterlooville

Contract: - Full time, Permanent

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Pay rate: £15.35 per hour - NVQ level 3 in childcare

The Role

Are you a qualified or experienced Support worker with experience in working with children?

At Joneshouse Recruitment we are partnering with childcare providers across the country to fill their live roles. We are looking for a full time, permanent candidate to work with our client across the week and weekends and with additional sleep ins. They offer training and development with opportunities to progress within the company.

The shifts will include a mixture of:-

7am-2.30pm / 2.30pm - 10pm / 7am - 10pm and sleep ins

You will have a mixture of experience with :-

Training

Working 1-1 with the children

Challenging behaviour

Supporting personalcare plans

Run daily eventsand activities

Maintaining a safe and caring environment

Challenging unacceptable practices

Write care plans

Share knowledge and information

Become a key-worker

You will have

NVQ 3 or above in in Children and Young people or similar Qualification

Experience in working with children in a residential setting

Managing Children with Learning Difficulties and Mild behavioural Issues

Full Driving License preferred.

Be able to obtain a clear DBS
