Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking passionate and confident Learning Support Assistants to fulfil a temporary, long term placements within schools all across Hampshire!

At Reed Education Southampton, we provide recruitment and cover support to schools across the county with their temporary and permanent needs, as well as providing excellent support for candidates who are registered and placed with us within various positions. We aim to provide the best possible service to both candidates and clients, and aim to fulfil your passion with roles that are suitable to you!

As the Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to work either on a group or 1:1 basis with pupils or supporting as a class, providing a supportive and patient manner on your approach. You will be able to provide consistent availability for schools to ensure continuity within your placements, providing an excellent example to both the pupils and the staff within the school.

The salary for this role is currently set from £12.63 per hour (minimum) and will be based on your experience.

For this role, you will need/will be:- Available as early as next week to support - Previous experience within a specialist provision preferred, but general SEN experience is desired/essential- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain)- Available on a full-time or part-time basis (Half Days)- Right to work in the UK
