Front End DeveloperRole Overview

As asenior frontend developer, youll be responsible for developing and maintaining complex frontend applications, creating reusable web components, and ensuring seamless user experiences. Youll work closely with backend engineers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.

Front End Developer Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development:

• Develop and maintain frontend applications usingJavaScript/TypeScript(vanilla) andLit.
• Buildscalable and reusable web components.
• Ensurecross-browser compatibilityand optimise performance.
• Implementresponsive designprinciples.
• IntegrateAPIsin collaboration with backend engineers.
• Writeclean, maintainable, and well-documentedcode.

Technical Leadership:

• Stay up-to-date with the latestfrontend technologiesand trends.
• Identify and addresstechnical debtproactively.
• Participate incode reviewsand provide constructive feedback.
• Mentorjunior frontend developers.

Design & User Experience:

• Work closely with designers to implementpixel-perfect UI.
• Ensure user experience andaccessibilitybest practices.
• Provide feedback ondesign prototypesand wireframes.

Problem Solving & Optimisation:

• Troubleshoot and resolvefrontend issues.
• Analyse andoptimise application performance.
• Be adaptable and willing to learn newframeworks and technologies.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong proficiency inJavaScript/TypeScript (vanilla).
• Experience withweb components.
• Experience withLit or React(lit preferred).
• Proven ability to buildresponsive, scalable frontend applications.
• Strongattention to detailand passion for clean code.
• Understanding ofdesign principlesand user experience best practices.
• Experience withpayment processing, live chat, or socketsis a plus.
• Design experience is a plus.
• Ability towork independentlyand within a team.
• Strongcommunication and problem-solvingskills.
