We are looking for anHMI UX/UI Developerto join my clients team and play a key role in shaping the future of maritime technology. Their work focuses on pioneering solutions that drive sustainability and efficiency in the shipping and marine sectors.

What Youll Be Doing

• Design & Prototype Create intuitive, user-focused wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Refine Visuals Enhance UI aesthetics by optimising layouts, colour schemes, typography, and usability.
• Collaborate with Developers Work closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation of your designs.
• Implement UIs Take ownership of coding and developing interfaces using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular).
• Usability Testing Conduct tests, gather feedback, and iterate to enhance user experience.
• Optimise Performance Ensure smooth, responsive interfaces across various devices and platforms.

What Were Looking For

Were seeking a skilled professional who blends creativity with technical expertise. Ideally, youll have:

Core Skills:

• Strong understanding ofHuman-Machine Interface (HMI)principles.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Hands-on experience withfrontend development(HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, React, Angular).
• Ability to design and implementreusable UI components and patterns.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity withusability testingand user feedback integration.
• Knowledge ofRESTful APIs, WebSockets, or real-time HMI development.
• Experience optimising UIs forperformance on resource-constrained devices.
• Background inindustrial automation, automotive, marine, or data analysis.

• Strongcommunication and collaborationabilities.
• Attention to detail and a passion for deliveringexceptional user experiences.
