An Faringdon based primary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from January 2025. This is a temporary position, initially until 31st August 2025, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in the foundation stage of children's learning.
About the Faringdon Role:The role of an EYFS Teaching Assistant is vital in supporting young learners as they embark on their educational journey. Working within a positive and nurturing environment, the successful candidate will help foster curiosity, creativity, and foundational skills in children during their Early Years Foundation Stage.
What We Are Looking For:The school is seeking a candidate who demonstrates:
- Holds a certificate in Level 2/3/4 Childcare (bonus)
- Reliability, warmth, and kindness in working with young children.
- Enthusiasm and a strong desire to make a difference in children's learning and development.
- Experience working within a primary school or Early Years environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with pupils and staff.
- Professionalism and respect for confidentiality in a school setting.

- 27.5 hours per week, term-time only (£83.50 - £90 per day).
