Commercial Broker required. My client is an independent insurance broker based in Oxfordshire, and due to recent growth are seeking an Commercial Broker to join their friendly and welcoming team.

My client offers bespoke, tailored insurance solutions for businesses in the UK and the EEA and they pride themselves on the service they provide to all of their clients.

The successful candidate will service a portfolio of business including new accounts, renewals, adjustments, queries and any other issues if and when they arise.

Commercial Broker Position Overview
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective commercial clients
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on risk management and insurance solutions
  • Assess clients' business operations to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate insurance products
  • Conduct regular reviews of clients' insurance needs and coverage
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes and market conditions
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for current clients and business development

This role involves assessing clients' insurance needs, providing tailored insurance solutions, negotiating with insurers, and ensuring clients receive optimal coverage at competitive rates. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to client service.

Commercial Broker Position Requirements
  • Previous experience working in Commercial Insurance
  • Experience generating and placing new business
  • Excellent technical insurance knowledge
  • Confident dealing with clients' on a regular basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must hold a valid driving license
