My client is a large and well established Tier 1 Contractor. They have been based in the region for the past 20 years or so and continue to grow year on year. They carry out a diverse range of projects including schools, large commercial projects, student accommodation, and healthcare. Projects can range in value up to 100 million.
Due to a busy pipeline in work, they are looking for an experienced (ideally Senior) Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
As a key member of the team, it is likely you will manage the commercial aspects of projects as No.1 on site. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you may also have management responsibility for a more junior member of staff (Assistant QS). The initial project is likely to be a new school as part of a long term framework.
