Tax Senior/Assistant – Camberley (Office-based)

TPF Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing business advisory firm.

Our client is seeking a Tax Senior/Assistant to join their friendly team. As part of their tax department, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of taxation matters, including advising on corporate and personal tax, as well as Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Trust Tax. This role is office-based, offering a great chance to work in a collaborative environment and build relationships with clients while contributing to the firm’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and advising on personal tax, corporate tax, VAT, Capital Gains Tax, P11D, Form 42, and more
  • Preparing personal and partnership tax returns
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and how changes affect clients
  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and building relationships with them
  • Reporting directly to the Tax Manager, and contributing to the development of new processes
  • Ensuring compliance with tax requirements while delivering solutions that add long-term value to clients
Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • ATT qualification in Personal Tax (some experience in Corporate Tax and Capital Gains Tax is a bonus)
  • QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates will also be considered
  • Proficiency with IRIS software
  • A strong working knowledge of up-to-date tax legislation
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A professional yet approachable demeanor with the ability to build rapport with clients
