Ambition are working with a highly established accountancy firm with their recruitment for an Audit Senior. This is great opportunity to join an established team within their Farnborough office. The key duties will include;

  • Leading on-site audit teams and completing assignments with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Planning, executing, and finalizing audits, reporting directly to managers and partners.
  • Coordinating audit planning with clients, including liaising with relevant internal departments.
  • Preparing reports, financial statements, and other necessary documents as required.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and related third parties.
  • Supervising and mentoring trainees, fostering their professional development.

Ideal candidate:

  • ACA / ACCA / CA qualified or Part Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute or equivalent international qualification)
  • Recent experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice
  • Strong communication skills with senior staff and clients
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office suite - Intermediate/Advanced user of Word and Excel.
  • Experience of preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
