Description
Responsibility for preparation of management accounts for 3 business units (including a consolidation)
- Including Sub Business Unit aligned P&L
- Balance Sheet
- Act as the main finance contact for the Division
- Preparation of Business Unit and Divisional monthly revenue in line with IFRS within group deadlines
- Preparation and processing of Business Unit WIP adjustment after consultation and approval
- Preparation of monthly reporting packs including KPIs; together with insight and analysis to assist operations understand the drivers of the results
- Monthly overhead costs analysis against budget and forecast, understanding variances and action to bring back to planned expenditure
- Detailed analysis of labour productivity monthly/weekly as required
- Input into ERP system improvements plan
- Continuously identify and implement business process improvements across the Finance team and across the Group finance function
- Other ad hoc work as required
- Business Planning, such as budget and forecast preparation.
- Conduct periodic Project Reviews with Operations as required
- Provide commercial coaching to the operational staff on financial matters as required
- Continually assessing demand and supply of labour with operations to ensure optimal utilisation of delivery staff

Profile
To be successful, you'll need to be:
- A qualified accountant
- At least 3+ years post qualified experience
- A confident communicator - you will be speaking with operational staff on a daily basis and challenging them where necessary
- A team player used to working in a fast moving environment
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Motivated individual willing to take responsibility
- Must be able to work to tight monthly deadlines and strict reporting deadlines.
Job Offer
This post commands a competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 depending upon experience, along with an excellent benefits package.
