This is a 12-month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. There may also be occasional evening and Saturday cover, in absence of Centre staff.

Surrey Adult Learning has seven centres across North and South West Surrey and we are excited to be hiring a new Centre Coordinator to join the vibrant team at our Camberley Centre. About Surrey Adult Learning

Surrey Adult Learning is a leading provider of diverse daytime, evening and Saturday courses and learning opportunities for adults. We offer a wide range of qualification courses, including English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), maths and digital skills. Our courses also cater to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and parents/carers seeking to upskill to support their children. Additionally, we provide courses for personal development in various subjects such as arts and crafts, languages and exercise. Our outreach provision is designed to assist those currently facing life challenges.

About the Role

As our Centre Coordinator your role will be to oversee the day to day running of the Centre. You will manage a small team of staff and work closely with the Area Business Manager and other teams within Surrey Adult Learning to facilitate the delivery of a range of day, evening and weekend courses. You will also be encouraged to contribute your own ideas about potential new courses and publicity for the Centre.

You'll need a confident, 'hands-on' approach to ensure the smooth operation of the Centre's activities which will include all aspects of facilities management, health and safety and administration relating to the delivery of courses and enrolment of Learners.
