Our client, based near Farnborough, Surrey, is a bespoke caterer preparing and cooking high quality food for VIP Clients. They are currently looking for a Sous Chef to join their team.Hours:This Sous Chef position offers a great work life balance with day time shifts, 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis, including alternate weekends off. Shift patterns are usually 6am-2pm and 10am-6pm with a degree of flexibility.Salary:This Sous chef role offers an excellent salary plus 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays, as well as Christmas and Boxing day off.The Role:They are currently looking for a Sous Chef to join their expanding team. This position is unique as no two days are the same. They are not an everyday kitchen, and the successful applicant will have to show creative skills in a variety of culinary fields and be able to use their initiative to grasp new techniques. The ability to think on your feet and work under pressure is a must. Requirements:You will have at least NVQ Level 2 in food preparation and cooking. A basic food hygiene certificate is beneficial, but training will be provided. You will be joining a family run business and enjoying being part of a small team is essential.
