Product Manager (Commvault, OpenText, Microsoft or Broadcom)

Location: Camberley

Salary: £35-40,000 + OTE (£10-15,000)

My client based in Camberley is looking for a Product Manager to come on board and join their team. If you have previous experience with Commvault, OpenText, Microsoft or Broadcom then please get in touch.

Responsibilities:

Own the management and development of the brand(s) in all countries.

Responsible for driving the success of products through market expansion through managing current partners and recruiting new partners.

Work closely with strategic partners to ensure them efficient commercial and sales support.

Play a key role in a relationship with the team.

Define and ensure effective execution/adherence to the Business Model.

Evaluate and recommend new business opportunities to grow sales or margins.

Provide an annual Brand Plan and data for inclusion in the Strategic and Operating Plans of the business.

Provide and lead Marketing and advertising promotional planning in entities for the brand(s).

Coordinate with Marketing department to ensure all events are done and properly followed up according to the plans.

Deploy Brand(s) related sales enablement and support processes tools for supporting entities' organizations seamlessly in their commercial efforts at recruiting, developing, and retaining customers.

Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees, including Presales, Technical Support, and Order Processing department.

Develop and follow up contact with strategic Partners/Clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Customer Satisfaction.

Build trust relationships with strategic Partners/Customers.

Follow up on the vendors' programs and make sure to meet all requirements.

Manage, develop, and follow up the business with suppliers.

Follow up and coordinate on the margins/quotes.

Utilize collected information to identify new opportunities and threats for inclusion in solutions or related portfolio development plans.

Undertake competitor benchmarking to monitor marketing and pricing activities to develop counterstrategies.

Study feasibility and forecast of local customer campaigns.

Experience:

3-5 years+ relevant experience (Africa/channel, preferably distribution/technology)

Bachelor’s degree in Commercial, technical, or Marketing

Experience in Product Management, ideally certified or trained on solution.

Exceptional sales and negotiation skills

Good marketing and analytical skills.

Good command of English and French (preferable)

Excellent presentation skills

Pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team.

Ability to understand and adapt to a multicultural environment.

Mastering of office automation applications.
