Technical Project Manager - Camberley, SurreySalary- £40k-60k Syntech Recruitment are currently working with a long standing client on this fantastic opportunity to join their team as a Technical Project Manager. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle, programme task management, and resource management, supported by the Project Managers Office and engineering teams, ensuring technical compliance and quality in project delivery. The role involves attending client meetings, requiring strong commercial and communication skills.What They Are Looking For:
  • Technical engineering project management, programme management, and planning to ensure project tasks, timescales, and deliverables are met.
  • Ability to manage financial controls of projects.
  • Capability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of engineers effectively.
  • Ability to lead project review meetings and client discussions, ensuring project controls are adhered to and deliverables meet expectations.
  • Competence in utilizing the support provided by the Project Managers Office to follow project lifecycle governance.
What They Require From You:
  • Knowledge/background in engineering, particularly control system solutions/automation.
  • Understanding of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives, and instrumentation products is highly beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in Project Governance and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • MS Project planning experience is beneficial.
  • Strong experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
  • A clean UK Driving License (occasional site travel may be required).
What Would Be Beneficial
  • APMP or PRINCE2 qualification.
  • NEC3 Contract Management experience.
  • CDM Management experience.
