A contracts manager is required for a building and construction fit-out project, based in Farnborough. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking contracts manager to work on projects based around the UK and Europe. Our client creates and maintains state of the art fit-out project solutions for well-respected brands across Europe and the UK. We are looking for a driven contracts manager with a strong proactive attitude and an eagerness to be a part of a growing company that is looking to double its turnover within the next year.
Key responsibilities for the Contracts manager - fit out role:
This role operates at a middle management level, serving as the primary point of contact for resolving complaints, queries, and project-related issues, allowing the Directors to focus on strategic and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the two Directors, ensuring seamless communication and project alignment.
- Overseeing all aspects of site safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Acting as the primary liaison with clients, maintaining a strong client-focused approach and ensuring their requirements are met.
- Managing and coordinating site foremen, ensuring they execute their responsibilities effectively and in accordance with project specifications.
- Undertaking basic Quantity Surveying (QS) duties, including preparing and maintaining the schedule of works.
Requirements for the Contracts Manager - fit out role:
- Proactive, articulate, and capable of assertive decision-making when required.
- Mandatory certifications: CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid (copies will be required from shortlisted candidates).
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as per project requirements.
- Valid UK driving license required, as the role may involve overseeing multiple sites simultaneously
