Junior CAD Technician
Location: Farnborough
Salary: 25,000 to 30,000
An opportunity has opened for a Junior CAD Technician to join a construction / Civil Engineering company based in Farnborough. The ideal candidate will be looking to take their first step in the Civil Engineering / Infrastructure industry and ideally will have experience with AutoCAD either in education or from a previous job.
The company will aim to expand on your current CAD Design experience or train you fully on AutoCAD and offer a variety of benefits including private medical insurance and an annual bonus.
Junior CAD Technician Key Skills:
- Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- An interest and educational or industrial experience in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and documentation
- Keen interest in transportation or infrastructure engineering
- Excellent analysis of drawings and calculations
- UK Driving License
Junior CAD Technician Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement infrastructure solutions for Civil Engineering clients
- Using AutoCAD for all drawings
- Conduct accurate calculations to ensure drawings fit with plans
- Write any documentation and reports
- Liaise with senior members and other engineers
- Ensure designs meet budget requirements
