Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Design Draughtsman with expertise in Autodesk Inventor, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of mechanical systems and components for subsea applications. You will collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to ensure that designs meet both client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Develop design concepts and produce high-quality technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers to refine designs and resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct design reviews and implement feedback to enhance product functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Support the fabrication and assembly process by providing clear instructions and technical support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Draughtsman, preferably in subsea or marine environments.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is essential.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
